Argon2id PoW Bench

Measures single-hash cost and full nonce-grind time for an announce-message PoW scheme. Run on each target device to tune parameters.

Argon2id Parameters

Memory cost (KiB)

131072 KiB = 128 MiB. Low values (e.g. 64) defeat memory-hardness.

Time cost (iterations)

Parallelism (lanes)

Hash length (bytes)

Difficulty (leading zero bits)

Expected attempts ≈ 2^difficulty. At ~1s/hash, difficulty 7 ≈ 128 expected attempts.

All hashing runs locally in this page via WebAssembly. Nothing is sent anywhere.
